Multiple site phone call management application

Master Call application is defined as an application package designed to collect information regarding phone calls from one or more telephonic systems, traffic analysis and phone network cost usage.

Master Call application is referring to managers that wish to monitor, to report and to control telephonic costs, that wish to impose a budget for every department and that wish to know the system restriction break attempts.

The application allows the realization of detailed reports regarding the dialed number, the duration and the cost of the call, reports of costs over a period of time, as well as totals on every department, telephone service providers or the whole cost.

With the help of Master Call there can be separated business calls from personal ones and there can be made reports on user/identification code/service/department/agency/branch.

Call costs can be detailed according to the number of systems passed, as well as the number of call participants (transfer/conference).

Traffic analysis allows the identification of weak points in configuring the system or the necessity of developing certain connections between systems or between systems and service providers.

The application is foreseen with a hardware security module that also has the role of managing the number of licenses and the capacity of Master Call.

Master Call - Receiver

• acquisitions phone system data and transmits them to Master Call - Transformer module
• connects to the phone system by serial port (RS-232) or by TCP/IP protocol
• can acquisition simultaneously data from more phone systems
• as an option, can acquisition data by TCP/IP protocol from systems that offer serial connection type by RS-232 to TCP/IP conversion module.

Master Call - Transformer

• processes data received from Master Call - Receiver module taking into consideration the phone system type
• storages processed data in a unique format in the system data base
• processed data from the Master Call - Receiver module are erased in order to optimize the system resources.

Master Call - Cost per call

• processes data written in the data base by the Master Call - Transformer module by establishing the cost for every phone call
• in order to establish the cost of the phone calls, there is used the information about the particular call, such as the time of call, the duration, used trunk and other elements needed in the process
• in order to establish exactly the cost of the calls the module uses special computation algorithms that uses special information such as: the provider of the call, call destination, minutes included in the subscription, the existence of a phone fleet
• from the organization point of view, the module offers the possibility of implementing a budget for every hierarchy alone: branch, department, service. These elements are saved in the data base prior to the processing.

Master Call - Alerts

• takes care of transmitting the system alerts received from the other modules
• alerts can be of every nature:
• interruption in receiving SMDR data from a telephonic system
• communication errors with the telephonic systems or in the network
• errors in phone calls processing because of lack of data base information
• exceeds of a department budget
• exceeds of a programmable call duration
• calling restricted numbers or forbidden use of routes by the employees
• alerts are send by e-mail to all system users that are stored in the data base.

Master Call - Reports

• Master Call - Reports is made as a web application, offering easy access for all system users
• offers 2 type of reports: manual and automatic
• manual reports are made at the express request of the users
• automatic reports will be made periodically as defined by system users
• the reports can be exported in different formats such as .xls, .txt or .html
• every report can have a short and a detailed version in order to offer essential information to every decision level in a organization.
